Bloody Maria
1½ ounces Montezuma White or Gold Tequila
6 ounces tomato juice
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 dashes Worcestershire
Juice of ½ lime
¼ tsp. seasoning salt
Salt and pepper to taste
Wedge of lime for garnish
Mix ingredients together in mixing glass and pour over cracked ice in tall glass. Garnish with wedge of lime.
Aztec Punch
For a large, friendly gathering
1 gallon Montezuma White
or Aztec Gold Tequila
Juice of 12 lemons
4 16-oz cans grape fruit juice
2 quarts strong tea
1½ tsp. cinnamon
1½ ounces bitters
Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Let stand 2 hours before blending. Yield: 124 cups.
Tequila Sunrise
1½ ounces Montezuma White or Aztec Gold Tequila
½ ounce fresh lime juice
2 ounces orange juice
2 dashes grenadine
Wedge of lime for garnish
Mix tequila, lime juice and orange juice in a tall glass. Add grenadine, allowing it to sink to bottom. Do not stir after grenadine is added. Serve over ice and garnish with lime.
Prickly Perrier
2 ounces Montezuma White or Aztec Gold Tequila
Perrier water
Wedge lime
Pour tequila over rocks in old-fashioned glass. Add Perrier, stir and add lime.
Horny Bull
1 ounce Montezuma White or Aztec Gold Tequila
Ice
6 ounces of orange juice
Pour tequila over crushed ice in unusual glassware - mason jar, beer mug, bud vase. Fill with orange juice.
Margarita
1½ oz. Montezuma Tequila
1 oz. Montezuma Triple Sec
1 oz. Lime or Lemon Juice
Shake with cracked ice. Strain and serve in salt rimmed glass.
Golden Knife
2 ounces Montezuma Aztec Gold Tequila
1½ ounces lemon juice
2 teaspoons sugar
2 dashes bitters
1 small egg
Iced club soda
Salt
Blend tequila, lemon juice, sugar, bitters, and egg with ice. Strain into 14-ounce glass with ice. Fill with club soda. Sprinkle with salt.
Tequila Tropical
1½ oz. Montezuma White or Aztec Gold Tequila
½ ounce grenadine
3 ounces orange juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Orange slice and cherry for garnish
Pour all ingredients into highball glass over cracked ice. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.
